Howl's Moving Castle
Last night I stayed up till 12:30 watching Howl's Moving Castle (subbed
version). And, I have to say, it was absolutely awesome! But it's what
could be expected for a Hayao Miyazaki film (I loved Spirited Away and
Totoro too). The storyline was extremely creative and it was
unpredictable (so many twists and turns!). At first I was afraid the
ending would be sad and everything would disappear into a memory (sorta
like spirited away if I remember right), but it didn't! xP, that made
me love it even more. My favorite part was when Howl said how he's
found someone willing to protect no matter what. *tear tear*.
I noticed that in all the Hayao Miyazaki films there are always black blob shadow things! Haha, I find them sorta creepy, but they're drawn well. One part in Howl's Moving Castle that I didn't understand (if someone wouldn't mind explaining) why Sophie's age kept changing.. Like at moments she'd be super old with a bent back, and then some times she wouldn't look as old (still with grey hair).
Anyways, I'd recommend the movie to everyone (especially those who like the fantasy-ish creative feel). Go see it if you haven't!
Aww, now I wanna go watch it again.
